My New Amazing Life!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket So I have now entered a new life. Matt and I had our daughter on Janurary 18th, 2007. Her name is Payten Lyn Sutterfield and she is the absolute most amazing thing I've ever experienced! I am realizing more every day just how blessed I am! God has given me such an incredible life and I know that I don't deserve this much happiness! I have the most wonderful husband I could ever have dreamed of! Mattie takes such good care of me. He get gets up every morning at 5:30 and goes to work until 5:00 pm. He does this whether he's sick, tired, or wanting to go on vacation. He never takes off work and never calls in sick. He works so hard and does it all so I can stay home and raise our children. So many woman complain about their husbands, about how they don't help around the house, don't help with the kids and aren't there for their wives. I don't have anything to complain about. Matt is an amazing man and does more for me than I deserve! We have so much fun together and he is my best friend! After nearly 8 years of knowing eachother and over 3 years of marriage I am even more in love with him now than when we were kids!
I am also blessed with the best two families in the world. But, in reality we're one family. Matt's family and mine are so close. They even hang out together when Matt and I aren't around. They are best friends! It is so amazing to have our families as one! We share holidays together and have Family nights on Fridays! It is so nice to not have to argue over who's family we're going to spend what holiday or what weekend with! We just spend them all together! God is so giving and has given me the best life! I am so thankful for all that I have and all the blessings that I've been given!
Thank you God for your amazing love! I'm so blessed!

My Terrifying Experience!

So today, (just like any other day) Me, Mom and Payten went to walmart. And as usual, Payten gets hungry as we're in there. So, I leave mom and take payten out to the car to nurse her. I have always heard the stories of moms nursing their babies in the back seat and some lunatic getting in the car, in the front seat and driving away with the mom and baby in it. So...me being the smart, cautious woman that I am, I ALWAYS lock the car while I'm nursing! So, I put payten in the back seat, get in the front, turn the car on and air on high, lock the doors...yes, all of them....and slam the door shut....I turn to get in the back seat and it hits me...I didn't leave her door open. She's already screaming at the top of her lungs because she's starving, poor child, and now I've locked her in and myself out! I try to stay calm and then realize that there's nothing I can do. I stir up the courage to LEAVE THE CAR WITH HER IN IT!!! (Oh, what a heartbreak!!!) and run back into Walmart to find my mom! I'm litterally sprinting through walmart calling for my mom, not having a care in the world that people are staring at me thinking I'm crazy! I finally find her and start to loose it. I tell her that I locked Payten in the car and to call Matt to see where he is. OF COURSE---he's like 30 miles away! So, mom calls 911 to have the firemen bring the 'jaws of life' to save my poor, starving, stuck in my car, baby girl! Okay, so not the jaws of life, but poor, starving, and stuck...yes. As mom is on the phone with 911 I start running back outside. As if all this wasn't enough I start sprinting through the parking lot and can't find my car!!!!! I finally find it after what seemed like 30 minutes but was really like 1 and I look in to find my baby girl sitting in her carseat screaming with huge real life tears pooring down her face! Oh Lord help me....then I REALLY loose it!!! I don't remember much except there were a lot of women coming up asking if something was wrong..."No, nothing's wrong..I'm just screaming and bawling my eyes out and banging on my car for no reason." Haha, okay I didn't really say that. Now my throat hurts. Within less that 1 minute I hear sirens...THANK YOU LORD, I don't know how much longer I could've watched her stuck in there! So, they poor out of the fire truck carrying the "jaws of life" aka a big slim-jim and take like maybe 2 minutes to get the car open. I'm on the other side of the car, still crying and they unlock all the doors. I jump in to that car and scoop up my poor child! I just hold her crying and crying and telling her I'm sorry. I now realize that she had no idea anything was wrong except for the fact that she was hungry!! :) So, all in all she was in the car for maybe 10 minutes, but it was the most terrifying 10 minutes of my life! Thank the Lord for Firemen!!! So, I have yet to put her down and won't let anyone take her from me. I don't know...she might get locked in their arms or something. :) All is okay now...but what a fright it was!!!

Running out of gas

Within the first few months of getting my license, I ran out of gas 6 times...of course that was almost 6 years ago...but since then I have run out guarenteed over 20 times, and three times in just the last 6 months! The last time was the absolute worse!! I was on my way to work, and it was 22 degrees outside...I, being late and irresponcible ran out the door with just a long sleeve t-shirt on...no coat. HUGE MISTAKE!!! I got about 3 miles from my house and ran out of gas on the side of the interstate. For those of you that have never noticed before...there are 5 ft barbed wire fences on either side of the interstate. And not just regular, let's keep the cows in the pasture fences...these had some weird fencing between the barbed wire, so you couldn't climb through it. So...I'm there with no heater in my car, no cell phone, and no coat...unable to go anywhere! And, worst of all...no radio to keep me company cause my battery was dead. After about 30 minutes of sitting there wondering why I did this again...my car started to get really cold. So, I start trying to make a decision. #1. Do I walk about 2 miles in the freezing cold weather on the side of the interstate until the barbed wire fence ends? or #2. Do I revert back to my redneck roots and jump the fence bearing blood, cuts and all? After 5 hours of sitting in my car, YES...5 FLIPIN' HOURS!!! crying and freezing my you know what off, I finally decide that I've GOT TO GET OUT OF THE CAR!!! Notice...not one freakin' person stopped to help me. I even counted 5 freakin' cops pass...and never even glanced at me. Oh, I was pissed! So, I start walking and about 400 yards away I found a place where I could climb through the fence. I ran over to Buffalo Wild Wings, shaking to death, and crying. I asked to use the phone and Matt was working about 2 hours away so he couldn't come get me...so I finally after about 30 more minutes of sitting there crying, I got ahold of my momma. She came and got me and took me to her house. The rest of the day I was shaking...I was what you call "frozen to the bone". It sucked!!!

How I feel

Here I am today, filled with emotion. Lord, you know how I feel. I am sad, but accepting. I am down, but returning to contentment.

My life is amazing and yet I feel so undeserving. I have NO doubt that you are with me. My week has been filled with sorrow, but my life is filled with blessings! I still don't understand why Melinda was taken away from her sweet family, but I know and fully believe that you have a plan! I pray that you comfort Mark and the kids. Let them never forget the amazing woman that their wife and mother was!

Lord, I pray with a thankful heart! I don't know anyone that is as blessed as I am! I wish that everyone knew the joy of living for you! How can anyone get through this life without you?! "How can I keep from singing your praise!?" I want to praise you every second of my life! Thank you so much for giving me the most amazing church family! I am in awe of the bond that we have! I've never seen a church family so close and so loving! My church is the real deal. They're not there for anything but You! Thank you for our preacher, Rusty! What an amazing man of You he is! This week has been so devastating, but Rusty, Kent and Bill lead us from sorrow, back to worship! I pray that you bless them emensly! Lord, I want everyone to have the wonderful life that I have! I have the best family in the world! Mattie is my sole companion! He is more than I deserve! Payten brings light to every second that I live! I am so looking forward to the full life that I will have with them!
Lord, I love you! You have blessed me and I don't know why, but I am so humbly grateful! Thank you, I can't say it enough!

Now I have to go tend to the wonderful little girl that you have given me! :)
THANK YOU LORD FOR MY LIFE! Thank you.
